Hello and happy Thursday! I hope you're all doing well, hang in there, the weekend is just around the corner. I really wanted to post the second part of my Valencia City Guide earlier but didn't have the time to sit down and write a bit because I spent the last two weekends in Vienna and Milan, both beautiful cities. Anyway, today I finally give you some more Valencia trips so read on!
Plaza de la Virgen and Science Museum
We started our second and last day in Valencia early in the morning at the romantic Plaza de la Virgen in the old town. This part was one of my favorite parts of the city thanks to its beautiful old buildings, little shops and cafés. We strolled the streets for a bit, bought some souvenirs for our parents and then headed to the City of Arts and Sciences which we had already visited the day before.
This time we went to see the Museum of Science because my sister Nina loves dinosaurs so much so we thought it would be a nice present for her. The museum itself has some cool permanent collections and exhibitions but since I've seen so many unique and huge museums in New York I wasn't too much impressed. However, it's a nice activity on a grey afternoon and especially fun for kids.
Ruzafa District and Waffle Time
Since we all have a real sweet tooth we visited the cute Waffle Time bakery before heading to the airport. They create delicious, insta-perfect waffles with different toppings. We tried the unicorn waffle with cheesecake and the oreo waffle. They were both very yummy and two waffles were more than enough for three girls. We left Valencia happy, exhausted and with a full tummy! I will surely come back. Hope you enjoyed reading this post!
